we're headed on vacation tomorrow...and so tonight, i loaded up the children on 'extra' kisses...one for each night we're gone (a whopping NINE!)
after giving the two older girls their extra kisses, they asked if i had done that with porter...i said no...so i headed back into his room to do that...
i climb up on his bottom bunk to be able to see him on the top bunk.
i ask him if he wants extra kisses.
he says yes.
(mind you, he was a total &@$#&@% today and ruined our evening plans...but still...)
i give him extra kisses.
he looks up at me....with his long eyelashes and his little porter look and says
"can i have hugs, too?"
when relaying this story to jason - his response - "there's a reason we don't kill our young"
