our after school routine is often madness and chaos...especially when a *new* activity pops up...which is what happened this week, when i had about three different places to be at the same time...
but, one part of the kids' participation in the youth choir that they like the most, is the trip to the nursing home to sing. they don't always get to go, for a variety of reasons (some on our end, some on choir planning end...) and this week was one of the days when a trip was scheduled, but it looked like the schedule wasn't going to permit it.
well, with a little poke and prod from the director :) and a re-arranging of transportation, porter did our pay-it-forward today by joining his choir at a local nursing home to sing.
(on a funny side note, he asked why, when they were singing right before dinner, was it so early in the afternoon...)
